i just wanted to post a message to say that i for one have always and still do support President George W. Bush

i find myself thankful for the safety and security he has brought to a nation under fire from terrorist organizations, i realize that he has made “some” mistakes during his term in office, (as do ALL Presidents)  but in the 7 years following September 11 2001 this country has been safe from foreign attacks on our soil…and as a result of the conflict in Iraq, there is no longer a tyrannic dictator who killed over 300,000 of his own people in order to test biological weapons. and the people of Iraq will now control they’re own futures… like it or not Liberals, it was the right thing to do at a pivotal moment in world history…

Now some want to blame Mr. Bush for the tough economic time we are experiencing these days when (if you educate yourself  beyond your TV) you know that this financial crisis was set in motion long before George took office and had Mr. Bush done the things that needed to be done to avoid this crisis, the liberal left would have criticized him for that as well… now drastic time call for drastic measures…… are we all as a nation ready to sacrifice a few luxuries in order to correct this mess. i hope so, but i bet not….look as far back as president Carter to see the beginning of the economy turning in the wrong direction…

And the Gas Prices skyrocketing to almost 5 dollars a gallon. Mr, Bush’s Fault ?   have you ever heard of a thing called “Supply and Demand” the American people in their gluttonous ways demanded more fuels so the supply cost increased. have you noticed that since we all tightened our belts and stopped consuming fuels at a fever pace that the price has receded back to an almost acceptable level… now mind you a barrel of oil today cost what it did in 1972 so why aren’t gas prices in line with that…. ( still researching that ) but i would say to you if your going to blame the president for the gas price increasing than you should in turn credit him for them decreasing, yet i don’t hear a single person doing just that… there are several other things i could mention in this context but i will close by saying this…..

George W. Bush’s Legacy will be a strong one once all he has done comes to fruition, and now we have a new president coming into office and all those who voted for him tell me i need to support him, but why should i support their Choice when  they have failed to stand behind our current President… do you not realize that when you cease to support your President, the World see’s that as a weakness and sees the United States as a weak nation when we can’t even back our president. i will hold my judgement on the President Elect until such a time as his end of term as President, i will wait to speak until i have seen what he has done and seen the ramifications of his actions as president (not what past presidents have done which come to fruition under President Obamas term.) when that time comes as it does for all presidents, then and only then will i judge him..

we all know that what a president does or the things he sets in motion rarely come to light under his term in office, therefore the next president or even the one after that either take or receive credit or subsequently receive blame for those things. 

So before you Judge George W. Bush and Hold him to blame for how America is today eg. the war in Iraq, the Economy, etc… go back and look up, and educate yourself on previous presidents and the actions or in-actions they took and see how those came to fruition under Mr. Bush’s term as President of these United States of America..and you just might find he wasn’t the monster or idiot some of you think he is….

i thank you for you committed service to this Country. i thank you for your commitment to the safety and security of our great nation, i for one wonder how safe we will be after January 20 2009. i have always supported you, thought you did the right thing in response to what was done to this great nation. i wish you and Laura well in you life after the White House…
